Merry Christmas from the Hunters
We wish all of you happy holiday and a healthy new year. Thanks so much to Randy and Mary Ellen for getting this going. Let’s all support it, so at reunion time in 2015 we sort of know what’s been going on other’s lives.
We have had a rough year with Al being diagnosed with two kinds of cancer – one squamous cell on the side of his face and neck. He had surgery to remove that which was very extensive in the healing process, then in August was diagnosed with multiple myeloma, which is cancer of the bone marrow. He has gone through two sets of chem- (still is taking chemo injections) and a six week stint of radiation. The jury is still out, as far as a cure, but he feels good, has gained twenty pounds, and we are very hopeful.
We are Most thankful for tender blessings
We are Most thankful for tender blessings – so many have come our way, and we’re looking forward to a good 2014. Our family will all be here for Christmas, and at that time Corey and Dayna will receive their endowments and have their boys sealed to them, which is the greatest Christmas we could ask for. All of our children are ably employed, happy, and are very good to their “pa and ma.” Maybe the next blog post from us can include a photo.
We love you all and had such a great time at the last reunion (thank you Scott and Trenna and all the Dixon’s).
Al and Elaine
Congratulations on Al’s weight gain. (Alas, it’s too bad we can’t all claim weight gain as good news.) Best of luck for 2014.
Hope this goes through. Never used a blog but it seems harmless. Hope you all have a happy Holiday season. This is a test I guess.
